腎小球內皮細胞是一種分化的微血管細胞,參與調節腎小球的濾過。它們形成濾過屏障的內側部分,且參與腎小球的病變。腎小球內皮細胞持續分泌生物活性分子,并可被炎癥和血栓形成所上調。嚴重腎小球缺陷導致的內皮細胞損傷,可抑制局部血管生成和損傷部位的腎小球硬化。腎小球內皮細胞的損傷可影響腎小球系膜細胞和上皮細胞,并導致腎臟疾病的進展[4]。由于腎小球內皮細胞在培養、克隆和增殖方面的困難,使得該細胞的生物學特性仍不為人所知。
Sciencell研究實驗室的人腎小球內皮細胞是從人的腎中分離得到的,純化后凍存,冰凍運輸。每管細胞密度超過5×10^5/ml。該細胞可通過 vWF/Factor VIII 和CD31 (PECAM)特異性抗體的免疫熒光及體外微導管結構的形成進行鑒定。本細胞經檢測不含HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原體、細菌、酵母菌和真菌。如采用ScienCell 實驗室特制的培養基,可保證此細胞15倍增殖。
